Crafting Time: Kozo Studio Proudly Supports "Living in an Elastic Time" at The Jim Thompson Art Center
At Kozo Studio, we have always believed in the deep, quiet power of materials. Every sheet of mulberry paper we craft carries a story of tradition, patience, and human touch. These are qualities that feel more precious than ever in today's fast-paced world.
That is why we are honored to announce our partnership as a paper sponsor for: "Living in an Elastic Time" at The Jim Thompson Art Center in Bangkok.

About the Exhibition: Reimagining Time and Craft
Originating from the Cheongju Craft Biennale 2025 in South Korea and thoughtfully reinterpreted within the Thai context, Living in an Elastic Time invites audiences to step away from the relentless rhythm of industrial time.
Curated by renowned curators Gridthiya Gaweewong and Angkrit Ajchariyasophon, the exhibition unfolds across the galleries, museum, and gardens of the Jim Thompson House Museum. It features thought-provoking works by over 25 visionary artists and designers, exploring key themes:
-
The Aesthetics of Slowness: Celebrating the timeless cultural values embedded in traditional craft and the spiritual dimension of repetitive labor.
-
Techno Craft: Bridging ancestral techniques with modern digital tools and future-facing material approaches.
-
Sensorial Flows: Demonstrating how contemporary art and craft coexist to reshape our perception of memory, labor, and everyday life.

The Kozo Touch: Bringing Tactile Heritage to the Book Cover
As a brand dedicated to the art of paper making, we found an immediate and profound synergy with the exhibition's core message. Craft functions as a medium for reflection and contemplation rather than merely skilled making.
We are proud to share that our signature mulberry papers were chosen for the exhibition’s official book cover.
With its unique organic texture, durability, and natural warmth, our mulberry paper serves as the tactile gateway to the publication accompanying this exhibition. Just like the artworks housed within, ranging from textiles and wood carvings to large-scale installations, our paper embodies a reverence for slowness and handcrafting. Holding the exhibition book means holding a physical piece of that philosophy right in your hands.
